Lawn Care treatment Plan
Liqui-Chem’s lawn care treatment plan consists of 8 applications applied throughout the year.
Most treatments take an average of 10 minutes to complete and consist of EPA-approved pesticides applied by MDAC Certified Professionals.
Lawn Starter Application
- Pre-emergence herbicide to control grassy and broadleaf weeds
- Broadleaf herbicides, as needed, to control dollarweed and winter weeds
- Balanced fertilizer application rich in phosphorus and potassium to prepare your lawn for spring
Spring Lawn Application
- Pre-emergence herbicide to control grassy and broadleaf weeds
- Broadleaf herbicide, as needed, to control dollarweed and remaining winter weeds
- Balanced fertilizer application rich in nitrogen to help your lawn green up from winter
Late Spring Lawn Application
- Insecticide to help reduce problems with molecrickets, ticks, ants, fleas and chinchbugs
- Broadleaf herbicides, as needed, to control germinating summer weeds
- Post-emergence herbicide to control bahiagrass and other hard to control weeds
- Balanced fertilizer application with the addition of micro-nutrients to increase color and health of lawn
Early Summer Lawn Application
- Insecticide to help reduce problems with molecrickets, ticks, ants, fleas and chinchbugs
- Broadleaf herbicides, as needed, to control germinating summer weeds, provided it is not too hot
- Post-emergence herbicide to control bahiagrass and other hard to control weeds
- Balanced fertilizer application with the addition of micro-nutrients to increase color and health of lawn
Mid-Summer Lawn Application
- Broadleaf herbicides, as needed, to control germinating summer weeds, provided it is not too hot
- Post-emergence herbicide to control bahiagrass and other hard to control weeds
- Balanced fertilizer application with the addition of micro-nutrients to increase color and health of lawn
Late Summer Lawn Application

- Balanced fertilization to prepare your lawn for fall and cooler temperatures
Lawn Winterizer Application
- Pre-emergence herbicide to control winter weeds
- Broadleaf herbicides, as needed, to control remaining summer weeds and early winter weeds
- Winterizer fertilizer rich in potassium to help your lawn have better cold hardiness during the months of winter
